Abstract

The economic recession that occurred during the covid pandemic has resulted in the burden on the business world becoming higher and the unemployment rate is increasing. The challenge of BAZNAS /LAZ as a zakat management organization is how to optimize collection in the midst of the increasing burden faced by the business world and optimize utilization to be effective and on target. This research aims to examine the influence of zakat funds. infak and alms (ZIS) and the performance of zakat management organizations (OPZ) as well as the size of the organization as a moderating variable on the unemployment rate in Indonesia. The performance of OPZ is proximated by the national zakat index (IZN) and the size of the organization is proximated by the large number of organizations. This study uses secondary data from all provinces in Indonesia. The data analysis technique uses moderating regression analysis (MRA) to find out whether the moderating variable strengthens or weakens the relationship between performance and quantity.
